~Fresh Coat~ Wet N' Wild Speak When Spoken To....

Tuesday, April 24, 2012

Finally. I spotted the Wet N' Wild Bejeweled Collection.

It is one of the collections on my never ending drugstore stalking list...right under #1....Revlon Gucci Westman Collection Escapism 2012. *deep sigh*.

Word on these polished addict streets is that the Bejeweled Collection is a dupe of China Glaze Prismatic Chroma Glitters...but half the price.:)

I did SWST in three coats. I should have done a base coat but I have  Born Into Privilege as well and when I post that one, it will be over a black base.
So much is going on in one bottle! Glitter! Duo chrome!! Micro Glitter!!! Yasssss~~~~

I took the blurry photo ( BELOW) to show the chromatic under color. I love this shade.:)

~Fresh Coat~ Revlon Runway Pearl....( a Chanel Pearl Drop dupe?)

I love when Revlon dupes an expensive polish. They have been the most successful at doing it in my opinion. You can get the designer color you couldn't afford or didn't want to pay for, in a drugstore, for $4.99. Boom!

Revlon Runway Pearl is supposedly a dupe for Chanel Pearl Drop.
Per many searches of nail bloggers rocking this color, I paired Runway Pearl with a white base in Kleancolor White. I love the  look white polish and Runway Pearl on top gave it a subtle iridescence. Its more pearly than iridescent.

~Physician's Formula Shimmer Stripes in Smoky + Two Days of FOTDs~

I'm very overwhelmed in eye shadow right now. lol!

I have new palettes, loose shadows, quads just waiting to be used. I'm still learning and growing with my eyeshadow application. Some days are better than others. LOL!

I recently bought Physician's Formula Smoky Eye Palette with some CVS ECBs and smile.:)

Smoky came out the Nude Shimmer Strips palette that I have and did a couple looks with (SEE HERE). I also own "Casual" that also came in this collection of shadows.

I'm a big fan PF, I wish that would make more of their face products brown girl friendly, like the foundations, powders and bronzers. Overall, the Shimmer Strips are great, medium color pigmentation and lots of shimmer.
For the last two days...I used the top three colors and the bottom three. PF defines these shades as Trio #1 Natural and Trio #3 Dramatic. Let's see if that's true...hmmmmm.......

DAY ONE-Trio #1- Casual...top three colors..used Tarte Hotel Heiress bronzer in the crease for transition ( thanks LipSh0ck on YT!!).
The colors were really light and hard to build...guess that's why they are"Casual" hahaha.... But I like the look. The first light shimmery one is a GLITTER BOMB. Watch out!!
DAY TWO- Trio #3- Dramatic. Loved these three shades. Easy to blend but the silver shade didn't give me the pigmentation in the palette.

Overall...cool palette, not mind blowing but like the Nude palette great for traveling or a go-to smoky eye kit without searching around your collection for the colors.

Let me know what you think!
