Thrift Store Haul...again.:)

Thursday, July 07, 2011

I only went  to the thrift store because I was with my mother. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

As my know, my mother is thrifting/hussling type of broad, so she, the kids and I were all out and about in Spartnaburg and we stopped at her favorite thrift shop ran by the Safe Homes/Rape Crisis Coalition. Its a pure gem of a place. The problem is....its not open on the weekends.

Anyway...I scored some great vintage goodies and a pair of Jones New York cream lined slacks on my mom. She actually bought me something that wasn't a Christmas or Mother's Day present.O_o

~Review~ mark. Got To Glow Gradual Glow Body Moisturizer....

Ok....I'm already dark skinned....ya'll know that. lol! But I like to be bronzey too. I tan a bit in the summer but not evenly because I won't lay in the sun....chile please. So, today, I'm reviewing mark. Got To Glow Gradual Glow Body Moisturizer, a self-tanning product I got to try in lieu of me sweating like a pig in the Southern sun.:)

Here to scoop on Got To Glow:

mark Got to Glow Gradual Glow Body Moisturizer with SPF 15 ($14) – this gradual glow body lotion provides a radiant, natural-looking tan while protecting the skin from the sun’s harmful rays with SPF 15.  This lotion builds a healthy color and leaves skin with a light shimmer and glow.  Perfect for extending the life of a tan or for giving natural, subtle color.

Pros:

-I really enjoyed the lightweight moisturizer. Its not heavy, soaked into my skin evenly, and had a light tropical scent
-It worked! It evened out my tan over a period of two weeks.

Cons:
-It has a shimmer to it that I could live with out.
-I think the packaging would fair better in a bottle with a pump. But I think all lotions and creams should be in a bottle with a pump. lol!

Overall:
-I like it!!! If anything, its a great lightweight moisturizer WITH a sunscreen all ready included. Good summer buy.:)
