Review:Sephora Makeup Palette To Go-Warm Tones...

Happy Monday!!

I got Sephora Makeup Palette To Go in Warm Tones via the "Sephora Gift Card Hustle"....

-I got $15 GC email from Sephora
-Picked a $15 item
-Used a free shipping code for $25 and over that went thru and paid no tax ( Sephora for some reason doesn't tax SC residents)
-Got the palette for Free :)
Its about big as the palm of my hand, as you can see...
Comes with 8 eyeshadows( two are mattes, the rest are shimmers and satins), a peachy, NARS Orgasm-esque blush, and three lipsticks and a gloss.
The glosses SUCK. They all look bad on me. Three of them are actually lipsticks, very opaque. The shimmery pink didn't even show up on me. The tray the lippies are on, barely comes all the way out. Bad product design.
The blush is great. A very all around blush, blended perfectly...love it.:)
The first look I did was a neutral look. The champagne shimmer e/s and peach e/s' were very hard to blend. The Champagne shimmer e/s was actually chalky. The shadows are so hit or miss. I didn't like that at all.
I looked a little 'gray' even though I used the peach and champagne shades...
Here's a smokey look I did with the green matte color. Its divine. I wish that the palette had a matte vanilla shade instead of the vanilla shimmer...

Consensus: Not worth $15 and I glad I didn't spend a dime! lol! Really, the shadow quality was all over the place then the lippies are worth two cents. However, its great to travel with. You could create day and night looks with it. I think as a 'Warm' palette is caters to a much lighter warm skin tones and not to my brown 'warm' skin.

These colors are great! Sephora makes some wonderful colors for the price, I suppose. I've been a little leery of trying their products, I always seem to find other brands such as Urban Decay in which I prefer. But that smokey eye look is hawt!

The Cubicle Chick- Thanks! I expectd more from the palette I guess. I love UD too! I craving that Book of Shadows II.

Kia-Thanks! I got some Ulta single e/s that I like but skip on those sets in there in too. Too hit or miss.
