Review: Revlon Matte Eye Shadow....

Wednesday, January 14, 2009

Hi Everyone!!! I have a super duper crazy review for you today on Revlon Matte Eye Shadow. Yesterday, I picked these up at CVS for 4.99 plus tax for both( BOGO Free on All Revlon...go NOW!!). I saw them at Rite-Aid Monday...but they didn't have the sale.
Here are some great points aboutRevlon Matte Eye Shadow:
-They are very satiny in texture
-Great pigment, no building, just a clean brush will give you the color you see.
-True to color! I got ( from the left) Vintage Lace for my brow bone and Rich Sable for my crease and lash line for smoky looks and they went on just like they look in the case!!Brava Revlon!!

I did an eye with a dark shimmery green from the old Mally Roncal Sephora Palette with Rich Sable in the crease and Vintage Lace on the brow bone...gah!

Lips are a oldie but great-y from Revlon too...Revlon Super Lustrous in Nude Lustre...

So, my CVS only had four of colors available. There are more, including this brilliant royal blue color that I saw at Rite Aid and can't get my mind off of!!!

Hey Jamie,
What is your technique for putting on eyeshadow?

After seeing an ad for these and then your review I ran out and bought two of these yesterday (while they were still BOGO). I'll report back when I get around to playing with them.

Wow, Nude Lustre looks great on you! Did you wear it alone in that picture? Or did you have to put lipstick/balm before the gloss?
